I am a child of God and have the same rights and responsibilities as everyone else on the planet. I have been given time and talent to be used to bless the lives of others.
For most of my life I was a teacher who delivered curriculum to my students and thought I was doing a good job. It wasn’t until I retired that I became a mentor. It became my goal to guide my students on a journey to discover their hidden genius.
Rather than teaching my students to memorize and regurgitate facts and figures it became my goal to motivate my students to learn how to learn.
I came to realize that students don’t care what I know, until they know how much I care. Students that are actively engaged in teaching themselves are capable of realizing their full potential.
A mind can be a thought factory or a warehouse filled with useless information.
